Suzuki Burgman 650 Scooter Review

Motorcyclists ride simply cannot end if they have not laid their hands on a scooter. Not every other scoot, but the stylish Suzuki Burgman 650, which can match any biker’s desire. In the Burgman series, Suzuki’s Burgman 650 is very popular and, in Japan, Burgman series is better known as the Sky wave series.

Being a late entry, the Burgman did capture the market of Honda’s Silverwing with its sophistication, utility and great performance. And, in no time, it became the most viable alternative to most motorcyclists with fun and interesting to ride as USP of it. Equipped with most advanced technical features, Burgman 650 is an exceptional ride with unlimited advantages and unchallenged comfort.

It is the most stylish scooter that has some exciting performance to its credit. The Suzuki Burgman 650 looks quite beasty with a dry weight of approximately 520 lbs. Thus, you see that it even outweighs some heavy motorbikes as well, calling only six-pack abers to lift off its side stand (just kidding though!). The look of this jaded black or shiny silvery Burgman 650 is further enhanced with its unique storage capacity. The plush ride in Burgman is only an enjoyable experience (cannot be put in words).

In the class of scooters, Burgman 650 comes with the largest engine and the most fearsome acceleration in the streets as well on the speed racing highways. The tech specifications of Burgman include a powerful, 8-valved twin-cylinder engine with electronic fuel injection system that is but just precise for the throttle response it gives. Its smooth, no-jerk comfortable ride is ensured by the technological advancement of SCEVT (Suzuki Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission) that allows rider to toggle between three modes of power automatic, manual shift and normal automatic. It also provides with extra comfort to the riders with spacious ergonomic and adjustable backrest pillion seat. Additional advantage is it helps to get freed from maintenance of battery, as it is equipped with the convenient electric starting system. There is no noise too as it has the best stainless steel effective exhaust system. However, it is the terrific storage space that’s the steal of a deal. The under-seat storage is quite huge that it can capacitate two full-faced helmets. Additionally, it has front storage areas in the dashboard for those smaller toolkit and first-aid stuff. The instrument display is automotive styled with speedometer, fuel gauge, LCD odometer and analog tachometer.

Ask me to tell about Suzuki Burgman in short, I would say it’s a great companion on long trips with more power and great stability. However, the fuel range capacity is disappointing. The automatic transmission system works great, but as a rider I left it mostly at normal automatic mode, as the bike did not accelerate more in the other modes. But, yes no other scooter will give such an impressive luggage capacity to carry almost a months’ worth grocery!
